John W. Rodgers

John W. Rodgers, 87, of Manhattan Beach, CA, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024 in Southern California.

He was a graduate of Harrisburg Catholic High School, Class of 1954, and was a US Navy Veteran. He attended the University of Southern California and worked in sales and real estate. He retired as Lead Teller at Los Alamitos Race Course.

John was born in Harrisburg, PA, the son of the late William H. and Loretta (Fleagle) Rodgers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William H. Rodgers, Jr., a sister, Joan Rodgers Gourley and her husband James.

He is survived by a companion, Joanne Wedhoff of Redondo Beach, CA, two nieces, Lynn Gourley Karl (Steve) of Camp Hill and Kelly Gourley (Zoeyen Au) of Ashburn, VA, great-nephew, Jamie Karl and great-niece, Mackenzie Karl.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11:00 am on February 16th at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
