John S. Moretz

John S. Moretz, 85, of Harrisburg died Sunday, August 20, 2017 at his home.

He was a retired Salesman from East Coast Railroad Contractors, Hershey and also worked at Fry Communications, Mechanicsburg. He was a member of Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque Parish, Harrisburg, and past Vice President of CYO.

A Navy veteran of the Korean War, He was born December 27, 1931 in Harrisburg to the late Samuel Adolphus and Marguerite Cecil (Lowe) Moretz. He was the widower of Agnes (Spohrer) Moretz.

He is survived by four sons, John S. (Sheila) of Chesapeake Beach, MD, Paul S. (Heidi) of New Cumberland, Joseph A. (Carol) of Camp Hill, and Leonard G. (Kim) of Brick, NJ; and nine grandchildren.

Viewing will be from 4pm until Mass of Christian Burial is Celebrated at 5pm Wednesday at Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque, Harrisburg. Interment will be held at 2pm Friday at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
