John W. Price, Jr.

John W. Price, Jr. 79, of New Cumberland died Saturday, October 13, 2018 at his son’s home in Dillsburg.

He retired from the PA Department of Revenue. He was a graduate of Hershey High School where he played baseball. An avid reader, he was a Civil War buff, enjoyed working in the yard, loved animals, and was a sports enthusiast, especially for the Phillies and Tigers.

He was born August 20, 1939 in Harrisburg to the late John W. and Selena (DeHart) Price, Sr. He was the widower of Ruth A. (Teets) Price.

He is survived by four children, Sharon Lynn (James) of New Cumberland, Wendy Price of Dillsburg, John W., III (Laura) of Dillsburg, and Kelly L. Myers (Robert) of Etters; two brothers, Jim of MI and Jerry of Mechanicsburg; three granddaughters, Dawn, Cortney, and Isabella; and a grandson, Simon.

Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
