Jon Alan Kinsey

Jon Alan Kinsey, 77, of New Cumberland, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023 in Hudson, FL. He was the son of the late Henry and June (Brockman) Kinsey, born on September 23, 1946 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Jon graduated from Cedar Cliff High School, Camp Hill, in the 1960s, remaining in the area most of his life. He spent his entire working career at Capital Products, Mechanicsburg, and would retire as Supervisor of the aluminum extruding department. He would then open his own business, Kinsey Rollback Services, New Cumberland. In addition, he would also haul cars and work Wednesday auctions at the PA Auto Dealers Exchange (PADE), Strinestown; this was a side job he thoroughly enjoyed.

He was a lifelong Philadelphia Phillies fan and watched as much baseball as possible. In his prime, you could find him at the Silver Spring Speedway, Mechanicsburg, just about every Saturday night during racing season. He will be missed by all those he leaves behind, especially his fiancée, Audrey W. Smith of New Cumberland.

Surviving Jon is his son, Jon A. Kinsey Jr. (Monica) of Lafayette, LA; sister, Jill Kauffman (Keith) of New Cumberland; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Marie Pompell; and a sister, Janice Gingerich.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Jon’s final resting place will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, New Cumberland.
