Joseph H. Elakrah

Joseph H. Elakrah, 44, of Mechanicsburg died Thursday, March 13, 2025 at his home.

A Director of Operations, Joseph was a graduate of West Oak High School, Westminster, SC and McCann School of Business and Technology, Carlisle. He enjoyed playing guitar, singing, and music in general. He will forever be remembered for his kind heart, and infectious laugh. He deeply loved his family and friends.

He was born June 4, 1980, in Seneca SC. He was preceded in death by his father, Mohammed Elakrah.

He is survived by his mother, Karen (Hawkins) Watson of Anderson, SC, as well as his aunt and cousins; wife, Carla L. (Sheaffer) Elakrah; children, Navy Alexandra Sheaffer, Layton Xavier Elakrah, and Naiya Layne Elakrah; and brother, Jamal Elakrah.

A Celebration of Joseph’s Life will be held Saturday May 24th at 12:00 PM at the New Bloomfield United Methodist Church, 100 West Main Street, New Bloomfield PA, 17068.
