Joseph P. Moore

July 13, 1957 — September 5, 2013

Joseph P. Moore, 56, of Hampden Twp., Mechanicsburg succumbed to cancer on Thursday, September 5, 2013 in the comfort of his home. Joe was a proud father, loving fiancé and loyal friend and family member to many.

Joe committed his entire professional career to Land O’Lakes, where he developed life-long friendships with both coworkers and customers. His passion for managing National Account Dairy and Deli Sales was evident to all that he touched. Joe established a family-like bond with those he befriended as an avid golfer and member of the Armitage Golf Club, a regular at the Caddy Shack Restaurant, and a bowler at ABC West Thursday Night League. Joe was a lover of many types of music from days past and even played a few of his own unique tunes using his guitar and drums. He was also a loyal follower of Cardinals, Twins and Phillies baseball and enjoyed NHL and Hershey Bears hockey. He was a Parishioner of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Camp Hill.

But the clear priorities in his life were his beloved and prized daughter Kerry and his fiancée and soul mate Shelly. Each in their own way brought great happiness into his daily life.
Joseph was born in St. Louis, MO to James J. and Carole (Lammers) Moore of Columbia, MO. He was the widower of Heather A. (O’Malley) Moore and is survived by his daughter Kerry Kathleen Moore of Pittsburgh, PA; fiancée Rochelle “Shelly” Stuter; two sisters, Angela Moore and husband Salvador of Madrid, Spain and Katie Weinberger and husband Ralph of Jersey City, NJ; a brother James E. Moore of Columbia, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
