Joyce A. Nease

 Joyce A. Nease, 84, of Middletown, formerly of (Paxtonia, Pennsylvania) died Sunday, August 18th, 2024, at Oak Hill Center for Rehabilitation, Middletown. 

She was a retired accountant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor, and Industry. 

She was born May 9, 1940, in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Robert Arthur Nease, Sr. and Virginia Jesse (Marcum) Nease. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert A. Nease, Jr., sister, Sandra Jane Myers, and nephews, Melvin L. Myers, Jr., and Timothy J. Myers.

She is survived by her sister, Kathrina Lynne Nease (Rebecca Kephart) of Broken Arrow, OK; nephews and nieces, James R. Myers(Suzanne), Pamela S. Beissel, Robert A. Nease, III, Mary Elizabeth Eicholtz (Tim), Emily Susan Nease; and numerous cousins.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Parthemore Funeral Home (1303 Bridge Street, New Cumberland, Pennsylvania 17070) for visitation from 8:30am until 9:30am on Friday, August 23rd. Service will immediately follow.
