Judith A. Wisman, 84, of Enola, passed away on September 19, 2024 with her husband and children by her side. She was born in Harrisburg, PA on October 23, 1939 to the late James and Violet (Johnson) Beavers. Judy found joy in spending time with her family, especially organizing gatherings to bring everyone together with her infamous peanut butter fudge. Throughout her life, Judy was an active member of the East Pennsboro Civic Club, the Eastern Star - Harrisburg Chapter, and Zion Lutheran Church in Harrisburg, where she also served as a past council member. She approached life with a passion for reading, completing word searches, and indulging in soap operas. She had a knack for organization and always found delight in creating family traditions and cherished memories.
She is survived by her devoted husband, George "Bud" Wisman; two sons, Todd and Jeffrey (Tracey) Wisman; one daughter, Jamie (Earl) Armstrong; six grandchildren whom she adored, Sean (Lindsey) Wisman, Marissa Wisman, Brianna Wisman, Jarrett Wisman, Logan Daugherty, and Emma Daugherty; four great-grandchildren, Jackson, Cameron, Griffin, and Rowen; and a brother, Doug (Connie) Chance. She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by a daughter-in-law, Sandy Wisman and her sister, Sandra Sherk.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 10 - 11 AM at Parthemore Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow. Burial will take place at Rolling Green Cemetery in Camp Hill with Pastor Karin Pejack officiating. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Judy's name is requested to her church, Zion Lutheran, or Residential Hospice.
