June F. Kearns

June F. Kearns, 90, formerly of New Cumberland, died Thursday, January 23, 2014, at Bethany Village, Mechanicsburg.
She was a a graduate of Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre; a member for over 50 years of Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church, New Cumberland and a member of the New Cumberland Woman’s Club. Born on April 21, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Charlotte (Ross) Fassett. She was the widow of Francis J. Kearns and was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Smith.
Surviving are two sons, James D. (Joyce W.) of Lewisberry and Scott R. (Karin) of Enola; a brother, Donald Fassett of Bel Air, MD; five grandchildren, Mark J. (Deborah), Jeffrey D. (Christina), Shannon M. DePatto (Joe), Justin S. (Ellie) and five great grandchildren, Courtney, Kyle, Jared, Cameron and Alexander; a niece, Sheryl Rodzinak and a nephew, Rodney Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday in Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church, New Cumberland, with the Rev. Dr. Edwin Green officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
Visitation will be held 1 – 2PM Tuesday in the church.
