Karl D. Jacobs, 82, of East Pennsboro Twp., Camp Hill, died Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation, Middlesex Twp.
He retired as a Construction Inspector for the Commonwealth of PA, Dept. of General Services, Harrisburg; an Air Force Veteran of WWII and Korea; attended Church of the Good Shepherd, Camp Hill; a former member of the Lutheran Lay Renewal; a former Boy Scout Leader and a former member of the Grange. Born on April 5, 1931, in Charleroi, he was the son of the late Paul and Mayme (Voelker) Jacobs. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara A (Matafka) Jacobs and a grandson, Alexander DiRocco.
Surviving are his wife, Mary LoBuono Jacobs; two sons, Kevin D. (Anna) of Enola and Mark P. (Tammy) of Dauphin; a daughter, Saundra L. Bullis of La Habra, CA; a stepdaughter, Lisa M. DiRocco (Peter) of Mechanicsburg; a sister, Debra Neiderhiser of Leavenworth, WA; seven grandchildren, Megan, Kristopher, Gregory , Andrew, Adam, Danielle and Michael; two great grandchildren, Haylee and Colby.
Memorial services will be held at 11 AM on Monday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with the Rev. Paul C. Helwig officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
