Kathryn E. Mcbride

Kathryn E. McBride, 73, of East Pennsboro Twp., died Thursday, August 28, 2014, at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
She was a retired waitress having worked at various restaurants in the area; a member of the Susquehanna Valley Campers and a lifetime member of Creekside Fire Co. of East Pennsboro Twp. Born on June 6th, 1941, in Darby, she was the daughter of the late Joseph I. and Sara E. (Kee) Gaffney. She was the widow of Donald L. McBride and was also preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Tammi R. McBride, a step granddaughter, Jenn K. Helman and a sister, Helen T. Good.
Surviving are a son, Robert Francis of Houston, TX; a daughter, Donna M. Helman (Kenn) of Enola; a step daughter, Cindy Russo (Anthony) of Enola; her companion, Charlie M. Sanchez of Camp Hill; two brothers, Joseph I. Gaffney (Lynn) of New Cumberland and Michael D. Gaffney (Kathy) of Camp Hill; four sisters, Frances D. Tennis of New Cumberland, Mary Koller (Paul) of New Cumberland, Theresa Overton (Robert) of Chrystal River, FL, and Patricia A. Hutchins (Terry) of Key Largo; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Pastor Dawn Spangler officiating. Burial will be in Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Newberry Twp.
Viewing will be held 6 – 8 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
