Kathryn M. Ennor

June 25, 1929 — September 10, 2019

Kathryn “Kate” Ennor, 90, went home to be with the Lord on September 10, 2019, in Camp Hill, PA. She died peacefully after a short illness with her loving family by her side.

She was born June 25, 1929, in Harrisburg to Robert and Geraldine Marshall. Her father was a local restauranteur and her mother was a nurse from Greencastle, PA.

Kate’s family loved her for her peaceful and caring nature. She was fun-loving, enjoying water skiing on the Susquehanna River and spending summers at her family’s cottage in Buffalo Twp., PA. For many years Kate played basketball for the Harrisburg Republican Club. She especially enjoyed family gatherings with good food and an occasional glass of beer.
Kate was an employee of the City of Harrisburg for 41 years.

Kate is survived by her son, Robert Ennor of Steelton, PA; two sisters, Madlyn McPartland of Seaford, DE and Alice Gorman (Deacon Francis) of Mechanicsburg, PA; brother, Joseph Marshall (Doris “Gretchen”) of Miami, FL; several nephews and nieces; and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Ennor, her brother, Dr. Robert Marshall, and sisters, Nancy “Jayne” Marshall and Beverly Long.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday, September 20, 2019 in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 3435 E. Trindle Rd. Camp Hill. Viewing will be from 6-8 pm Thursday evening with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:30 pm in Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.
