Kathryn M. Hindman, 77, of Enola, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Holy Spirit Hospital – Camp Hill. Born on September 5, 1943 in Darby, PA, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Helen Reba (Mulholland) Heaton.
Kathy worked in various locations and capacities for the federal government. She was a Library Technician at the United States Army War College Library – Carlisle and held the team leader position at the Circulation Desk for several years prior to retirement.
Kathy’s life revolved around her family, friends and precious family dog, Desiree. She loved spending time with all of them on the beaches of Strathmere and Bethany, watching sports, going to music concerts and cooking holiday meals. She was unselfish in her love and the memories she left behind will be forever cherished. She was the family’s rock and they felt lucky every day of their life she was with them. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Surviving Kathy is her beloved husband of more than 50 years, Fred Hindman, Jr.; children, Robert Hindman of Carlisle, Jeffrey Hindman (LeAnn) of Kansas City, KS, and Katey Buggy (Dave) of New Cumberland; sisters, Deborah “Debi” Small of Broomall, PA, and Jackie Grabinski (Gerry) of Mt. Laurel, NJ; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Joseph Small (decd. 2019).
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
