Keith Schmidt

Keith Eric Schmidt, 40, of Etters, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023. He was the son of Edward John Schmidt, Sr. and the late Ann Louise (Willard) Schmidt, born on March 17, 1983 in New Brunswick, NJ.

Relocating to Central PA, Keith would graduate from Mechanicsburg Area High School (Class of 2002) before earning an associate degree from ITT Technical Institute. He had a good sense of humor and would bend over backwards to help others. Keith was a lifelong New York Yankees fan and quite the handyman.

He leaves behind his wife, Valerie Schmidt of Mechanicsburg, and their son, Aiden; his father, Edward John Schmidt, Sr. of North Brunswick, NJ; brother and sister, Edward John Schmidt, Jr. (wife, Carla) of NJ, and Lori Tunney (husband, Nicholas) of Thomasville; and several nieces and nephews. Keith was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Schmidt, and infant son, Riley.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Visitation with the family will be from 1 - 1:30 PM Saturday in the funeral home.
