Kenneth H. Hickok, 81, of York Haven died Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at his home.
He was a retired Forester from DCNR, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He started as a Service Forester and helped develop the first computer network for what was then known as the PA Department of Forestry. In his youth, he earned the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. He received his Masters and Bachelor of Science from Penn State University where he was a member of Alpha Zeta Fraternity and Glee Club. After retirement, he and his wife opened a rubber stamp and scrapbooking store called Stamp Express at the West Shore Farmers Market in Lemoyne.
He was born September 11, 1940 in Troy, PA to the late Edwin Charles and Mary Emma (Hunsberger) Hickok. He was also preceded in death by his brother Paul.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline (Yon) Hickok; sons, Troy (Becky) of York Haven and Kris (Lisette) of State College; sisters, Dorothy Killebrew of Strasburg and MaryLou Eichenmiller of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
