Kenneth J. Rocuskie, 54, of York Haven, passed on Friday, May 11, 2018 at York Hospital. Born April 7, 1964 in Shamokin, PA, he was the son of Alice L. and the late Charles T. Rocuskie.
Ken was the Fleet Maintenance Manager and an employee of Lower Allen Township for 35 years. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and son. He loved his family more than life itself. Ken was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He enjoyed making things with his hands, gardening and canning food, making deer jerky and sticks and smoking meat. He always said he was born 200 years late.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry C. Rocuskie; his five children, Kenneth J. Rocuskie, Jr., Matt S. Rocuskie (Mel), Stan A. Rocuskie (Steph), Danielle E. Persun (Rick), and Hunter C. Rocuskie; his six grandchildren, Brendan, Rozlynn, Isabella, Mason, Allen and Owen; his mother, Alice L. Rocuskie; three brothers, Charles T. Rocuskie, Jr., Scott L. Rocuskie and William J. Rocuskie; and a sister, Renae E. Stauffer. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles T. Rocuskie.
A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. A public viewing will take place one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will take place immediately following services in Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Lewisberry.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ken’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society (cancer.org), 112 Sipe Ave., Hummelstown, PA 17036.
