Kerry L. Jury

Kerry L. Jury, 74, of Fairview Twp., Mechanicsburg, died Thursday, September 17, 2020, at UPMC Pinnacle, Harrisburg.

Born on August 30, 1946, in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Clarence A. and Miriam (Paige) Jury.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Linda L. (Chubb) Jury; two sons and their wives, Pastor Matthew S. and LeeAnne Jury of Richmond, VA, and Pastor Bradley A. and Jennifer Jury of Westerville, OH; a daughter and her husband, Victoria R. and Francisco Farray of Anderson, SC; seven grandchildren, Hope, Kyle, Carter, Grace, Kassia, Cana and Amelia; a sister, Eloise Myers of Dauphin; many nieces and nephews.

Kerry proudly served his country in the US Army from 1966 - 1969, including one tour in Vietnam. He was stationed at various East Coast Army bases. Kerry retired after 40 years from Roadway Express and most recently worked for Cook Brothers Truck Parts. As a follower of Jesus Christ, Kerry had believed upon Him for salvation and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of York. He was also a member of the National Railroad Historical Society and Williams Grove Historical Steam Engine Association. Kerry was an avid photographer with his pictures published in many books and magazines.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday at Grace Baptist Church of Lewisberry, 780 Woodland Ave., Lewisberry, with Pastor Greg Wahlberg, his pastor, officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp. Officiated by his son, Pastor Brad Jury.

Viewing will be held at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 am until the time of services.
