Kevin “Moose” McCauley, 58, of New Cumberland, died Monday, January 31, 2022, at Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center surrounded by family and friends.
Kevin was a truck driver for UPS Cartage, Middletown; He is a graduate of Cedar Cliff High School class of 1982. Kevin was an avid marksman who loved shooting trap and road trips on his Harley. He valued his many friendships and would be willing to help at a moment’s notice. Born on August 20, 1963, in East Pennsboro Twp., he was the son of the late Paul E. and L. Jean (McGowan) McCauley.
He was a devoted husband to his wife of 34 years, Karen D. (Haubert) McCauley; a proud father to his two daughters, Katelyn McCauley of Mechanicsburg, and Kelsey McCauley of New Cumberland; a caring brother to his sister, Cheryl (Tom) Melnichak of Lemoyne; along with several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all the nurses and care givers at Penn State Health Hampton for their compassion and caring of Kevin during his hospital stay.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 12, from 1 – 3 PM at Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church, New Cumberland, with a memorial service immediately following at 3 PM in the church with the Rev. Jean Felty officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Enola Sportsmen’s Club in honor of Kevin McCauley. The address to mail contributions is 290 Pine Hill Road Ext., Enola, PA 17025.
