Kim Marie Machamer

Kim Machamer, 60, of Mechanicsburg, died Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at UPMC West Shore Hospital.

A 1980 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, she was a Service Associate with Freysinger Pontiac GMC for over 30 years before moving to Faulkner Dodge in Mechanicsburg.

She was born on January 29, 1962 to the late Irvin and Dixie (Kauffman) Machamer. In addition to her parents, Kim was preceded in death by two sisters, Donna Fisher and Teresa Geary, and a brother, Dave Machamer.

She is survived by her niece Nicole Berdel (Jeff); nephew Aaron Machamer; sister-in-law Sue Machamer, and brother-in-law Jim Geary. “Meme” also leaves behind her great niece Maggie, who was the sunshine of her life.

Family to some, friend to many; Kim will be remembered with great endearment by all those who have met her along the way. From her lifetime friends, new acquaintances, former customers, and the regulars whom she always looked forward to talking and laughing with weekly-- Kim was recognizable almost everywhere she went, which was a testament to what a loyal, lovable, kindhearted, and approachable constant she was in all of our lives.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a future date.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
