Laura Licata

Laura Licata, 92, of Enola died Friday, November 29th at Transitions at Allen Cove, Duncannon.

She was born Sepbember 7, 1932 in Borgetto, Sicily to the late Antonio and Magdalena (Castelli) LaPuma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pietro Silvio Licata and nine siblings.

She is survived by her sons, Paul Licata, M.D. (Christine) of Enola and Anthony Licata, M.D. (Amy) of Sinking Spring; grandchildren, Mauro, Al, and Sienna; a sister, and many nieces and nephews.

Laura was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a talented seamstress, even making her wedding gown from scratch. She took great pride in her home and feeding the stomachs and hearts of anyone who sat at her table.

Private Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Enola at the convenience of the family. Entombment will follow in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
