Lavida “Lee” Bayler, 80, of New Cumberland, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021, at Pappus House, Spry Twp.
She enjoyed gardening and ceramics, but most importantly, she was proud of her two grandchildren and their community service, including firefighting and E.M.S. She was also extremely proud of her granddaughter’s military service in the U.S. Air Force.
Born on July 12, 1940, in Columbus, OH, she was the daughter of the late Jackson W. and Lavida L. (Green) Ringler. She was the widow of Robert K. Bayler and was also preceded in death by her brothers, John, Bob, Paul, Art and Jack.
Surviving are her two beloved daughters, Tammy L. Ball (Alberto) of Highspire, and Karla M. Bayler of New Cumberland; a son, Wallace Rupley of VA; two grandchildren, Joshua K. Keller and Samantha N. Keller-Adams (Matthew); her brother, Jim Ringler (Lisa) of New Cumberland; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland with Pastor John Huther officiating. Entombment will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp. Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the funeral home.
