Leo Vincenzo Piscioneri

Leo Vincenzo Piscioneri, 91, of Camp Hill, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
He was a retired painter with the Harrisburg School District and a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland. Leo enjoyed gardening and caring for his fig trees. He was blessed with the ability to fix almost anything, but his greatest passion was his love for his wife, his children and his grandchildren.
During WWII, he was a POW in North Africa for six years.
Leo was born in Roccella Jonica, Reggio Calabria, Italy to the late Rocco and Maria (Violi) Piscioneri.
He is survived by his wife of more than 65 years, Maria Teresa (Coluccio) Piscioneri; children, Rocco A. and wife Linda of Camp Hill, Frank and wife Victoria of Camp Hill, Maria Pizzi and husband Mark of Columbus, OH, Joe and wife Christina of Lindenhurst, NY and Rosamaria Gass and husband Jeffrey of Gainsville, FL; ten grandchildren, Vincent and Victor, Alexander and Cameron, Amanda Mesch and Anthony Pizzi, Nikki and Leo, Neil Gass and Katie MacWilliams; and a niece, Graciela Gass and husband, Glen of Tipp City, Ohio.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Monday, December 15, 2014 in St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge St. New Cumberland, PA 17070. Viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:30 am Monday in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Entombment will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
