Leon D. (Terry) Taterus, 86 of New Cumberland, passed away on August, 30, 2024 at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, PA.
He was born in Shamokin, PA on November 5, 1937, the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Anthony Taterus. He graduated from Coal Twp. High School in 1955. He immediately enlisted in the U.S. Air Force serving four years, which included three years overseas in N.A.T.O. Command. He was honorably discharged in 1959 from active duty and remained in the Reserves for four more years.
He attended the Williamsport Technical Institute and the Electronics Institute in Harrisburg, PA.
He came to the Harrisburg area as a technical service representative in the Addressograph division of the A-M International Corp. in 1963, and retired from the business information systems division of the Eastman Kodak Corp. in 2003.
He was married to the former Catherine Anne Delves of Montreal Canada in 1969.
They had three children, Melanie Christine Walters of Clearwater, FL, son, Stephen Anthony of Camp Hill, and son Kevin of Alexander, NC; a grandson Quinn Avery and a granddaughter Genevieve Juliet, both of Alexander, NC.
He was an ardent fly fisherman for most of his adult life and traveled extensively in pursuit of his hobby.
In keeping with Terry's plans, there will be no public services. A private family gathering may take place on a future date.
