SFC Leroy I. Liddic U.S. Army Ret., 72, of Goldsboro, died Friday, September 2, 2016, at Select Specialty Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
He retired as a Sergeant First Class with the U. S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War having been awarded the Purple Heart, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. He was a former employee of Flight Systems, New Cumberland, the former Berg Electronics, New Cumberland and the former Capital Bakers, Williamsport. Born on September 13, 1943, in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Irvin V. and Sara C. (Bubb) Liddic. He was the widower of Patricia L. (Paul) Liddic.
Surviving are a stepson, Ray Allen Mixell of Mechanicsburg; a sister, Helen I. Hamilton of Lewistown; two granddaughters, Rayanne and Eveanne Mixell, both of New Cumberland.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Private inurnment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp. at the convenience of the family. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
