Leslie Paul Lucas

Leslie Paul “Les” Lucas, 64, of New Cumberland, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019 in Bethany Village, Lower Allen Twp. after a short but brave and courageous battle with cancer.

He retired as a Sergeant First Class in the U.S. Army and he also retired from PHEAA/AES, Harrisburg and was a 17-year member of the American Legion Post 143, New Cumberland.

Born on May 26, 1955, he was the son of the late Walter B. and Elizabeth M. (Salatino) Lucas.

He was a devoted son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. His greatest joys were spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also enjoyed gardening and working outdoors. He was generous and giving of his time in taking care of anyone and everyone around him in any way that he could.

Surviving are a daughter, Tami Lucas-Fisher (Marty) of New Cumberland; a son, David G. Tota of Millersburg; four brothers, Walter A. of Transfer, David R. of Washington, PA, Philip S. of Odenton, MD, and Gerald J. of Ormond Beach, FL; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.

Visitation will be held 5 – 7 PM Friday at the funeral home.
