Lillian R. Fritz

Lillian Rose Fritz, 92, of Camp Hill, PA, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 in Country Meadows West Shore, Hampden Twp.

Lillian was born in Massachusetts and was a graduate of Chicopee High School. She retired from Western Union Telegraph Company, Harrisburg, PA after 25 years of service. She was a member of the Camp Hill United Methodist Church, the Camp Hill United Methodist Women, Fidelity Class and Deborah Circle.

Lillian was an active member of and held many officer positions in the Camp Hill Women’s Club, Camp Hill Civic Club, Penn-Cumberland Garden Club, Harrisburg Area Civic Garden Center, District IV of the Garden Club Federation of PA, the State Garden Club Federation of PA, and was a volunteer with the Holy Spirit Hospital Garden Therapy Group.

She is survived by her husband of more than 69 years, Harry B. Fritz; two daughters, Judith A. Keim and Debra S. Bowie; and four grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, July 28, 2017 in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp. There will be no viewing or visitation.

The family extends its sincere appreciation to both Country Meadows and Grane Hospice for the loving care they so graciously extended to Lillian.
