Linda L. Fry, 73, of Newberry Township, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Ward E. Stineman Jr. and Jeraldine A. (Rowles) Stineman, born on July 18, 1951, in Harrisburg.
Linda attended Cedar Cliff High School, Camp Hill, and would go on to gain employment as a supply clerk with the former New Cumberland Army Depot until her retirement. However, she didn’t sit still for long, taking classes through H&R block to become a tax preparer. She thoroughly enjoyed helping friends and family with their filings each tax season. She also spent time managing CR’s Friendly Market in Lemoyne in addition to her full-time employment.
She was a woman of strong faith, but nothing meant more to Linda than her family. She had a quick sense of humor and used sarcasm effectively (to say the least!). Outside of work, she enjoyed playing Bingo with some of her neighbors.
Surviving Linda is her sister, Sandy Quesenberry of Venice, FL; four nephews, Jason, Brian, Steven and Nathan Quesenberry; and numerous great-nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Paul and John Miller; a brother, Ward Stineman; and two nephews, Mark and Eric Quesenberry.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Linda will be laid to rest in William Howard Day Cemetery, Harrisburg.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution in Linda’s name a worthy charity of your choice, or to Volunteer Florida, an organization established to assist those affected by hurricanes, at www.volunteerflorida.org.
