Linda Joy Jensen

Linda Joy Jensen, 73, of Winter Haven, FL, formerly of Etters, passed away on March 8, 2025, in Lakeland, FL. She was born on April 19, 1951, in Harrisburg, PA to the late Alton Roger and Doris Smith (Shively) Kirkpatrick.

Linda proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, enlisting on January 15, 1975, and achieving the rank of Corporal before her discharge on December 15, 1976. Her dedication to her country was a great source of pride for her and her family. Linda went on to spend nearly thirty years serving in the federal government, where she had a profound impact as a Senior Advisor with the Defense Logistics Agency in New Cumberland, specializing in human resources. Beyond her professional life, Linda was a woman of many talents. She studied culinary arts in Italy and earned admiration for her exceptional baking skills. A passionate traveler, she found joy in exploring new places. As a dedicated seamstress, she created beautiful clothes and stuffed animals, always finding joy in the act of crafting. Her creativity touched the lives of many, especially those within her family.

Linda's legacy lives on through her beloved children, Tracy (David Anderson) Munoz and Christopher (Marita) Jensen, her cherished grandchildren, Isabell (Erik Martinez) Munoz, Gabby (Carlos, the dog) Munoz, Chaz Munoz, and Sol Mia Jensen; her adored great-grandson, Giovanni; and by her devoted sisters, Deborah (Dennis) Anderson and Dee (Lee) Holley, along with several nieces and a nephew, who will deeply miss her vibrant presence.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Parthemore Funeral Home from 10:30-11:30 AM with a memorial service to follow. Burial will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 2 PM with full military honors. In lieu of flowers and in memory of Linda who was a true advocate for children, please consider a donation to the mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
