Linda A. Modica

Linda A. Modica, 76, of Harrisburg, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at UPMC Community Osteopathic Hospital, Lower Paxton Township. Born on November 3, 1946 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late S.C. and Caroline (Gordineer) Modica.

Linda was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School and retired from the PA Department of Revenue, Harrisburg. She also spent many years of employment with Harrisburg River Rescue.

Surviving Linda are her children, CJ Longenecker of Mechanicsburg and Galen Harlan of Malvern; two grandchildren; three siblings, Michael, Mary Jean and Susan; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
