Lorraine R. Herb

Lorraine R. Herb, 86, of Camp Hill passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Life Care Hospital, Lower Allen Twp.

Lorraine was a devoted wife and mother and loved spending time with her family and always made them a priority. She loved to go shopping and dining out. She was loved by everyone who knew her.

She was a retired Claims Adjuster Supervisor from Highmark/Blue Shield. She was a graduate of Hegins Valley Twp. High School and she was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill. She enjoyed going to her family’s summer home at the beach, flounder fishing, and traveling with her family.

She was born January 11, 1931 in Gratz to the late Albert and Irene (Spotts) Kissinger. She was the widow of Richard J. Herb.

She is survived by two children, Dale R. Herb (Karen) of East Berlin, Luanne K. Melia (Jim) of Harrisburg; a sister, Barbara Runkle (Gary) of Fairport, NY; nephew, Bryan Runkle of Ontario, NY; niece, Karyn Kilinski of Raleigh, NC; brother, Ivan Kissinger of Pine Grove; brothers-in-law, Leonard Herb (Mary Jane) and Earl Herb (Grace) both of Valley View; and many nieces and nephews on the Herb side.

Viewing will be from 10 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. Monday at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill. Burial will follow in Rolling Green Cemetery.
