Louise J. Restagno

Louise J. (Salem) Restagno, 88, formerly of New Cumberland, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022 in Masonic Village, Elizabethtown.

She was a retired bookkeeper with Ursini’s Bakery, Mechanicsburg and a former teller with M&T Bank, Camp Hill. Louise was a graduate of Berwick High School, a member of St. Theresa Parish, New Cumberland and formerly volunteered at the West Shore Senior Center, New Cumberland. She enjoyed reading, playing cards and her weekly Bingo games while at Masonic Village. But more than anything, Louise loved and cherished time spent with her family, especially her two grandsons who she adored and of whom she was very proud.

Louise was born in Berwick, Columbia County, PA, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Marino) Salem. She was the widow of Rocco J. “Rocky” Restagno.

She is survived by her daughter Mary Jane Lutz and husband Bob of New Cumberland; sisters, Rose Williams of State College and Jane Nagle of Berwick; two grandsons, Robert E. Lutz, Jr and Nick R. Lutz; and her niece Beth Williams Boguski of NC.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Friday, January 6, 2023 in St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge St. New Cumberland, PA 17070. Viewing will be held from 9 – 10:30 am Friday morning in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.
