Lura S. Shader

Lura S. Shader, 89, of Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, formerly of Camp Hill died Sunday, February 5, 2022 at Lancaster General Hospital.

A graduate of Bloomsburg State Teachers College she was a retired fourth grade schoolteacher from West Shore School District. She was a long time member of Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church and active in retirement with the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of Order of the Eastern Star Astro Chapter No. 380, Harrisburg, PA Assn. of School Retirees, and an Associate Member of the John S. Sell Memorial Chapel, Masonic Village.

She was born January 19, 1934 in Lake Winola, PA to the late Walter Peter and Ruth Rae (Keeler) Szerafinski. She was also preceded in death by her husband Albert Hamilton Shader, and sisters, Gloria Eastwood and Mary Dodge.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna L. Kreiser (Karl) of Columbia, and Denise A. Keefer (Dan) of Hershey; grandchildren, Julia, Matt, Patty, and Will; and great-grandchildren, Jax, Annabelle, Harper, and Wesley.

Visitation will be from 10am until funeral services at 11am Thursday at Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
