Lydia Lenora (Imler) Parshall, 85, of New Cumberland, PA passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at her home surrounded by family.
She was born July 16, 1939 in Woodbury, PA daughter of the late John and Lenora (Smith) Imler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Calvin Parshall, Sr.
She was a member of Immanuel CMA Church, Mechanicsburg, PA. She retired from West Shore School District where she was a Teacher’s Aide, working with Special Needs children. During retirement, she worked in the gift shop at Messiah Village.
She was active in her church and enjoyed bowling, art, and sewing.
She was preceded in death by three brothers Ralph Imler, Levi Imler, and Donald Imler and a sister Anna Jane Corle. She is survived by sister, Vada Stern of Martinsburg, PA and brother, Daniel Imler of Woodbury, PA.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy L Frost (Terry) of Hedgesville, WV; son, Willis Calvin Parshall, Jr. (Merry) of Dover, PA; grandchildren, Kimberly Hudak (Jon), David Wilt (Elizabeth), Melody Hostetter (Justin), Mandy Lohss (Shane), and Misty Glotfelter (Paul); and 9 great-grandchildren, Hezekiah, Alethia, Zion, Reagan, Claire, Colton, McKenzie, Matthew, and Elena.
Viewings will be 5-7 pm Monday, Nov. 18th at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland and 10-11 am Tuesday, Nov. 19th at Immanuel CMA Church, Mechanicsburg, PA.
Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11 am, Tuesday, Nov 19th at Immanuel CMA Church with a service following at Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, PA. Officiating will be Pastor Wiggins (Immanuel CMA) and Pastor Loggans (Calvary Baptist).
Because Lydia’s great-granddaughter, Alethia, is fighting leukemia, the family requests any memorial donations be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
