M. Dudley Smith Jr.

M. Dudley Smith Jr., 89, of Hampden Twp., Camp Hill, died Sunday, January 4, 2015, at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
He retired as Vice President and Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch, Harrisburg; a graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; a member of the Rotary Club of Harrisburg; an avid supporter of the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra. Prior to his graduation from college, he served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific at the end of WWII.
Born on February 22nd, 1925, in Flushing, NY, he was the son of the late Maurice Dudley Sr. and Gloria (Perles) Smith.
Dudley was the widower of Carolyne L. (Cibart) Smith and is survived by two sons, Richard D. Smith of Brooklyn, NY, and C. Robert Smith of Lancaster; a sister, Valerie Bancroft of Portsmouth, New Hampshire; a sister and brother- in- law, Sandra G. and M. Douglas Tarlton of Las Vegas, NV; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
