M. Lorraine Drummond, 93, of Lower Allen Twp., New Cumberland, entered peacefully into eternal life Monday, August 09, 2021, at UPMC Pinnacle Health Harrisburg Hospital.
She retired as a beautician at the former Alma's Hairdressing Studio, Harrisburg; a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church, New Cumberland; a former member of the American Business Women’s Association. She was a devout Catholic and enjoyed praying the Rosary for family and friends. She also enjoyed knitting, crafts, candy making and cake decorating. Born on Thursday, April 5, 1928, in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Alma (LeBlanc) Leger. Lorraine was the widow of Angus J. Drummond Jr. and was also preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Terri L. Drummond and her brother, J. Earl Ledger.
Surviving are sons, M. Scott Drummond (Sandra L.) of New Cumberland, and Craig P. Drummond of Mechanicsburg; daughters, Denise D. Danilowicz of New Cumberland, and Jill M. Cardile (Salvatore N.) of New Cumberland; six grandchildren, Zach (Melissa), Katelin (Aaron), Tyler, Nicole (Jake), Michael P. and Michael S., Jr.; a great grandson, Nolan Patrick; nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Monday in St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge Street, New Cumberland, with the Rev. Kyle Sahd as Celebrant.
