Mamie A. Hill, 90, of Masonic Villages, Elizabethtown, and formerly of Camp Hill and Mechanicsburg, died Friday, March 7, 2014, at her residence.
She was a member of Camp Hill United Methodist Church. Born on October 27, 1923, in Dillwyn, VA, she was the daughter of Charles M. and Sarah A. (Anderson) Garland. She was the widow of Gustavus A. Goddin, Jr., George E. Frankenberry and Bertram C. Hill and was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Anderson Goddin, two brothers, James A. and Charles M. Garland.
Surviving are three sons, Gustavus A. Goddin III (Debbe) of Poquoson, VA, Fred Goddin (Sharon) of Bluffton, SC, and John T. Goddin of Houston, TX; a step daughter, Holly Hill of Camp Hill; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 7 PM on Sunday in Camp Hill United Methodist Church, 417 S. 22nd St., Camp Hill, with Pastor Jon Uhlinger officiating. Burial will be in Peninsula Memorial Park, Newport News, VA.
