Marcia G. Leinberger

Marcia G. Leinberger, 77, of Carlisle, passed away on January 13, 2025, just a month shy of her 78th birthday. Born on February 15, 1947, in Hagerstown, MD to the late John and Jean (Lanehart) Sheffield. Marcia was a supervisor at the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) for many years and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved reading a good romance or mystery novel, and play card games and word searches.

Marcia is survived by her three children, Lane (Jennifer) Leinberger, Courtney (Eric Miller) Leinberger, and Casey (Tina) Leinberger, who will carry her spirit forward in their lives. She is also survived by her dear brothers, Eric Sheffield and Curt Sheffield. She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by a granddaughter, Madeline, and her sister, Anastacia Hayes.

In keeping with Marcia's wishes, there will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages those who wish to honor Marcia to contribute to the American Lung Association National Direct Response, PO Box 756, Osceola, WI 54020-0756.
