Marelle E. Dorwart

Marelle E. Dorwart, 81, formerly of Lewisberry, died Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at the Church of God Home, Carlisle, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on February 24th, 1933, in Harrisburg, the daughter of the late George T. and Evelyn V. (Shuler) Davis. She was the widow of Harry A. Dorwart. She was also preceded in death by a brother, George Davis and a sister Marilyn Jacobs.
Surviving are two sons, Harry A., Jr. (Christine) of York Haven, and Darryl L. of Mechanicsburg; four daughters, Mary C. Whitsel (Dennis) of Harrisburg, Kathy A. Conley (Mark) of York, Darla L. Terry (William) of York Haven and Melissa A. Dorwart of Etters; a brother, Chester Davis of Yocumtown; twelve grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Friday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., New Cumberland, with the Rev. Carl Ford Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services in the funeral home.
