Margaret A. "Marge" Smith

Margaret A. “Marge” Smith, 79, of Silver Spring Twp., Mechanicsburg, was called home to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 7, 2017, at her home.

Surviving are her loving husband of 52 years, Clifford J. Smith; three daughters, Dian L. Strohecker of Enola, Donna L. Baer of Lewisberry, and Margaret A. Still and husband, Richard of Carlisle; two brothers, Robert Heller of Sunbury and Gary Heller of Buncombe, IL; four sisters, Shirley Mowrey of Sunbury, Sheila Arnold of Sunbury, Darlene Mowrey of Danville, and Debra Danley of Northumberland.

Marge retired as a Salesperson in the shoe department at Boscov’s in Camp Hill and was a member of Camp Hill Church of God. She loved her poodles and enjoyed her trips on Tuesdays to Roots Market in Manheim, trips to Hollywood Casino and shopping trips. Born on February 8, 1938, in Sunbury, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Ada (Smith) Heller. She was also preceded in death by a son, John T. Ward, and a daughter, Loyette E. Derrickson, two brothers, and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday in Camp Hill Church of God with Pastor Jason Cooksey officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
Viewing will be held from 1 – 2 PM on Tuesday in the church.
