Margaret Harriet Cook

Margaret Harriet Cook, 95, of Amoroso Wellness of York, and formerly of Camp Hill, died Sunday, July 16, 2023, at her residence. 

She was a member of Shiremanstown First Church of God. Margaret spent her entire life caring for her family, which was the most important thing to her. She was widow of Charles E. Cook and was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, Charlie Hoon, Leroy Hoon, Doris Riddell, Bert Miller, Mickey Hoon, Mary Shatto and Robert Hoon.

Born in Harrisburg on August 4, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin C. and Pauline (Carr) Hoon.

Surviving are her sons and daughter, Dwain E. Cook (Patricia A.) of York, Pa, Alan G. Cook (Connie J.) of Harmony, Pa, Carlene A. Baker of Pinellas Park, FL, Brandt W. Cook (Holly) of Dover, Pa, and Elliott Z. Cook (Sandra) of Manchester, Pa, 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two great, great grandchildren. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, July 23, at Shiremanstown First Church of God Church, with the Rev. James Moss officiating.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to be sent to Shiremanstown First Church of God, 35 South Locust Street, Shiremanstown, PA 17011
