Margaret "Mary" Gasperetti

Margaret “Mary” (Stanchock) Gasperetti, 91, of Lower Allen Twp., Camp Hill passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022 in Country Meadows of the West Shore, Hampden Twp.

She was a retired Barmaid with VFW Post 7415, New Cumberland and also worked for ten plus years at GIANT Foods, Fairview Twp., New Cumberland. Mary was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland; the Women’s International Bowling Congress; and the New Cumberland VFW. She enjoyed cruising, traveling with her friends, bowling and was an avid shopper.

Mary was born in Centralia, PA, the daughter of the late Peter and Rose (Bybel) Stanchock. In addidition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Anthony and was the widow of Louis J. Gasperetti.

Mary is survived by her six daughters, Bernadette L. “Bea” Mateer of Etters, Diane M. Acri and husband Charles of Lewisberry, Connie McClure and husband Rick of Etters, Robin Gasperetti of New Cumberland, Louise Thomas and husband Robert of Lewisberry and Amy Gasperetti of New Cumberland; her sister Dorothy Brass of Mt. Carmel, PA; eleven grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am on Thursday, August 11, 2022 in St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge St. New Cumberland with the Rev. Kyle Sahd as Celebrant. Viewing will be 5 – 7 pm Wednesday evening in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Upper Allen Twp., Mechanicsburg.
