Margaret L. “Peggy” Kirby Langletz, 81, of Dillsburg, formerly of New Cumberland died Monday, June 3, 2013 at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
She was a retired office manager from Langletz Landscaping, Inc., Rose Hill Farm Greenhouses, and Pa Landscape Group Inc. in New Cumberland. She was a graduate of John Harris High School. Previously, she was a Scrub Nurse at Holy Spirit Hospital and a doctor’s assistant for Dr. John Stoner at Family Physicians in New Cumberland. She was an active life member of the New Cumberland Fire Department, as well as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Ambulance service, and Fire Police. She loved cooking, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren. Peggy devoted her life to caring for others. She will be dearly missed by family, friends, and all those who knew her.
She was born June 23, 1931 in Harrisburg to the late James G. and Mildred G. (Murray) Kirby. She was the widow of John S. Langletz, Jr. and was preceded in death by her loving companion Richard Deibler.
She is survived by her son, Timothy E. Langletz (LeAnn) of Camp Hill; a daughter, Jacquelyn Shallenberger (Glenn) of Nashville, TN; and three grandchildren (Timothy John Langletz, Heather Marie Langletz, and Autumn Renae Shallenberger).
Visitation will be held at 10A.M., followed by a memorial service at 11A.M. on Saturday, June 8, at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
