Margaret (Roller) Price

Margaret (Roller) Price, 83, formerly of Etters, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Cameron Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Cameron, WV. She was the daughter of the late George and Helen (Szekeres) Roller, born on July 14, 1938 in Newberry Twp.

Margaret grew up in northern York County, remaining there for most of her life. She married her husband, Harry, in 1962, and she would stay at home to raise their four children. Having helped to raise her younger siblings, she was a natural homemaker and nurturer. Her family was everything to her; she vehemently protected her baby sister as a young girl, and she loved and did anything she could for her husband and children throughout the years. Margaret’s grandchildren will remember her awesome baking skills and the fact that she was “nanny” to so many of their friends. A woman of faith, she was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church, Etters. She would babysit for friends and neighbors over the years, chaperone her grandchildren’s class trips, and she always loved animals – especially dogs. She moved closer to her children in 2009, relocating to West Virginia.

Surviving Margaret are her children, Harry F. Price III of Cameron, WV, Lisa R. Anderson of Shermans Dale, PA, and John Joseph Price (Debbie Weiss) of West Hanover Twp., PA; daughter-in-law, Viki Price of Palmyra, PA; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; six siblings, Helen E. Hoover, Rose K. Sipe, Elizabeth A. Wolf, George J. Roller, John F. Roller (Dorothy), and Frederick G. Roller (Ruth); and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry F. Price, Jr.; a son, Terry Lee Price; son-in-law, Barry Lee Miller; and a brother, Harry S. Roller.

A funeral service will be held at 2PM on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. A public viewing will be held from 1PM until the service begins. A procession will travel to Shoop’s Cemetery, Harrisburg, where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband.
