Mass of Christian Burial for Margaret S. Zeplin, 87, of Lemoyne, which had been delayed due to the pandemic, will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday, July 31, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland with the Rev. Kyle Sahd as Celebrant.
Margaret S. Zeplin, 87, of Lemoyne, died Sunday, April 19, 2020, at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
She retired as an employee in Medical Records Dept. at the former Holy Spirit Hospital; a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland where she played the piano and organ. Margaret attended Julliard School of Music. Born on January 10, 1933, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Elizabeth (Garman) Scott. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Dan Rothermel, two sisters and a brother, Marie Barton, Joan Hower and Eugene Scott.
Surviving are two daughters and two sons, Mary E. Zeplin of Lemoyne, Francis E. Zeplin (Connie) of Dover, Anne K. Rothermel of Shippensburg, John G. Zeplin (Rochelle) of Lancaster; ten grandchildren, Bob, Rich, Holly (Dave), Ian, Derek, Zachary, Drake, Jess, Ally and Kristyn; three great grandchildren, Gage, Luke, and Olivia; several nieces and nephews.
Due to circumstances surrounding the pandemic, private services will be held at this time with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Swatara Twp. A public visitation and memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be in the future once the restrictions are lifted. Please watch here for additional information.
