Margery L. Hempt

Margery L. Hempt, 70, of New Cumberland, died Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center, East Pennsboro Twp.

She retired as a platform manager for the former NAVSUP, Hampden Twp. where she had received a lifetime career achievement award. Margery enjoyed Bunko and hanging out with her Bunko friends. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling, playing golf, and spending time with her family and friends, including spending time in her retreat in the backyard where she loved her flowers.

Born on April 16, 1953, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Harry M. and Mary J. (Arney) Williams. She was the widow of Robert G. Hempt, and was also preceded in death by her brother, Harry Ace Williams.

Surviving is her partner of 25 years, Donald R. Fuller, Jr.; daughter, Stephanie K. Wentworth of New Cumberland; stepson, Brandon L. Fuller of New Cumberland; step-grandson, Easton Fuller; brother, Thomas Williams (Sue) of New Cumberland; a niece and nephew.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are respectfully requested to the Penn State Cancer Institute, 400 University Drive, Hershey, PA 17033.
