Marian T. Edwards

Marion T. Edwards, 89, of New Cumberland, died Wednesday, July 8th, 2015, at her home.
She was the widow of George E. Edwards, M.D. A graduate of the Philadelphia School of Occupational Therapy and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, New Cumberland. Mrs. Edwards was an active volunteer with various organizations including Meals-On-Wheels and Messiah Village in Mechanicsburg, PA. Born on October 14th, 1925, in Ridley Park near her childhood home in Swarthmore, PA. She was the daughter of the late George and Charlotte (Robertshaw) Troxell. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Bud and Victor Troxell.
Surviving are her two sons, George T. Edwards of Margate, NJ and Steven A. Edwards of New Cumberland.
Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, July 16th, 2015 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery located in Annville, PA
The Edwards family would like to thank Mandy Herrera for her devoted service over the last several years. Her compassion and loving care was a great comfort to Marian and her family.
