Marie E. Clement, 91, of Camp Hill, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022 in Messiah Lifeways, Mechanicsburg with her loving family and Father Sahd by her side.
She retired from the Commonwealth of PA, Department of Revenue, Harrisburg and was a member of St. Theresa Parish, New Cumberland. Marie was a devout Catholic with a strong belief and devotion to the power of prayer.
Marie loved to throw holiday parties for her family. You never left hungry from Marie’s house. She especially loved Christmas. Marie was a fantastic cook and baker. She loved going to the beach and hitting that jackpot at The Borgata. She loved gardening and was very happy when her flowers won best garden of the week. Marie loved sports and was a Notre Dame football and Chicago Bulls fan. She loved the GOAT Michael Jordan and John Stockton. Marie provided many a successful medical diagnosis via her Merck Manual. Marie raised her children to love all people regardless of who or what they are.
Messiah Lifeways Laurel Upper was where Marie lived her last few years. The excellent nursing staff of Laurel Upper and Donegal are angels that walk this earth. Her family is so grateful to them and all staff at Messiah Lifeways. Her family is also grateful to Amedisys Hospice for their loving care of our mother.
Marie was the widow of Joseph L. Clement, Jr. and was preceded in death by her mother Rosella (Sendi) Coccia; sisters, Jeannette Rogers and Eleanor LaVia brother Joseph Coccia and son-in-law Peter Kemeny.
She is survived by her children, Diane Kemeny, Mary Ann Clement, Rose Ann Clement; honorary daughter Jennifer Cook; granddaughters, Ali Hayes (Dustin) and Noelle Homsher (Sam); great granddaughters, Charlotte, Lily and Emilia; and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Thursday May 5, 2022 in St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge St. New Cumberland with the Rev. Kyle Sahd as Celebrant. Visitation with the family will be from 9:30 – 10:30 am Thursday in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Harrisburg.
