Mark E. Sellers

Mark E. Sellers, 59, of Dillsburg, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020 at his residence. The son of Virginia (Eshelman) Sellers, and the late Johnny G. Sellers, he was born on July 17, 1961 in Anchorage, AK.

Being in a military family, Mark didn’t stay in one place for long in his youth. He was born in Alaska, but from there would move to Georgia, then New Cumberland, Johnstown, Okinawa, and back to the United States in Savannah, IL. The family finally landed back in central Pennsylvania, where mark would spend the rest of his years. He was a graduate of Red Land High School (Class of 1980), and enjoyed hunting and fishing throughout life. In his younger days, he was a member of the New Cumberland Boat Club, and enjoyed being outdoors as much as possible. He was a truck driver for many of his early working years, but his passion was for the outdoors, especially splitting and cutting wood. He finally turned that passion into a career this past year, when he started his own business – M&L Stump Grinding & Tree Service, Dillsburg. Above all else, Mark was a family man, and his happiest moments were in the company of those he loved.

Surviving Mark is his wife of 16 years, Lea (Bineda) Sellers; his sons, John, Martin, Steven and Travis Sellers; his mother, Virginia (Eshelman) Sellers; a brother and sister, Dan Sellers of Murfreesboro, TN, and Lisa Schlosser of York; nine grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny G. Sellers, this past May.

A public viewing will be held from 10-11AM on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Immediately following, a public graveside service will be held in Dillsburg Cemetery.
