Mark C. Wright

Mark C. Wright, 54, of Harrisburg, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023 at his residence. He was the son of the late William and Sara (Knapp) Wright, born on December 15, 1968 in Harrisburg.

Mark was a 1987 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School and would go on to work security at Milton Hershey School. He was a parishioner at St. Catherine Labouré Catholic Church, Harrisburg, and a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Mark leaves behind two aunts, Isabella Knapp and Eileen White; six cousins, Thomas Knapp, Daniel Knapp, Kevin Knapp, Michael Knapp, Diane Yanich, and Mary Kyzer; as well as extended family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four uncles, Gerald and Douglas Wright and William and Francis Knapp; and an aunt, Doris Knapp.

A memorial service will be held at 11AM on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. A visitation will take place the hour prior to services in the funeral home. Committal will immediately follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Harrisburg.
