Martha North Mueller

Martha North Mueller, 87, of New Cumberland was united with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 2, 2024, at Homeland Center, Harrisburg. 

She was a retired Executive Secretary from Rite Aid Headquarters in Camp Hill. She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was active in choir, quilting, and bell choir.

She was her families biggest cheerleader, always supporting her husband, John’s umpiring baseball and football, all her children’s activities, and then her grandchildren’s events. She loved her yearly family trips to Ocean City, those memorable trips w girlfriends to Sunfest, and traveling particularly to Hawaii, Alaska, and Spain, and countless trips to her parents’ house on the bay in Cambridge, MD.

She was born December 21, 1936 in Baltimore to the late Walter and Ruth (Cook) North. She was the widow of John Cress Mueller, Sr. and was preceded in death by her brother, Merriken North.

She is survived by her sons, John “Jack” C. Mueller, Jr. (Eileen) of Camp Hill and Eric C. Mueller (Jan) of Etters; daughter, Susanne M. Piccolo (Mark) of New Cumberland; seven grandchildren, Lauren, Kelsie, Elizabeth, Laura, John, Madeline, and Marissa; three great-grandchildren, Luca, Nora, and Isla; and several nieces and nephews. 

Viewing will be from 10am until funeral services at 11am Thursday, September 5th at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 530 Bridge St., New Cumberland, PA. At the family’s discretion, she will take her final trip to Cambridge, MD where she will be laid to rest with her brother and parents in Old Trinity Episcopal Church Cemetery.
